Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) has completed the Handil Rejuvenation Program at Handil Field, one of the main oil fields in the Mahakam Working Area (WK) in East Kalimantan that has been operating for more than 50 years. The program aims to improve the reliability of production facilities in order to maintain the sustainability of upstream oil and gas operations while supporting the achievement of energy self-sufficiency in line with the Indonesian Government’s Asta Cita agenda.

Bangkok – Six flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs within PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) received remarkable recognition at the 18th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit & Awards 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 23–24, 2026. This year’s forum featured Prof. Dr. Richard David Hames, Founder & Executive Director of the Center for the Future, as the keynote speaker. The six award-winning CSR programs were implemented by PHI subsidiaries and affiliates, namely PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangatta, and PEP Tanjung Field.

Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) continues to support the sustainability of the Sekolah Negeri Terapung Program, a flagship CSR initiative that provides access to quality education for children living in coastal areas around the Mahakam Delta, categorized as underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions/Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar (3T areas). The program is implemented at SMPN 6 Anggana, located in Sepatin Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Recently, the Sekolah Negeri Terapung Program received international recognition at the 18th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit & Awards 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, held on April 23–24, 2026, earning Platinum recognition in the Excellence in the Provision of Literacy & Education Award category.

Sangasanga– PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangasanga Field welcomed an educational visit from Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi (STT) Migas Balikpapan at Wisma Ria, Sangasanga, East Kalimantan, on April 22, 2026. A total of 74 students and accompanying lecturers from the Petroleum Engineering program had the opportunity to observe upstream oil and gas operations and various production facilities, including production wells, oil and water separation tanks, crude oil tanks, and water injection (WI) facilities.

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) Group within Zona 10 organized a series of activities themed "Energi Kartini: Jaga Sehatmu, Jaga Cantikmu, & Jaga Keluargamu" to celebrate Kartini Day 2026. This year&'s celebration highlighted the importance of balancing women&'s roles amid the dynamics of modern life. The event featured various activities, including a health talk show on cancer awareness, a beauty demo, and free health check-up services. These educational and inspirational activities were held at the PRCC Auditorium, Pasir Ridge Complex, Balikpapan, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
