PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur Provides Offshore Rig Field Experience for Media Personnel

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) once again organized its media engagement program titled Bincang Asik Soal MIGAS Ala PHI (BASO IGA PHI) Special Edition Goes to Rig as part of efforts to strengthen relationships and enhance media understanding of offshore upstream oil and gas operations. The activity was held at the Asian Endeavour (AE-1) Rig operated by Daerah Operasi Bagian Selatan (DOBS) PHKT and attended by 13 journalists from print, online, and television media in East Kalimantan.

Green Action on Labor Day, PT Pertamina EP Bunyu Field Conducts Tree Planting and Waste Cleanup Activities

Pulau Bunyu – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field, in collaboration with the Federasi Serikat Pekerja Pertambangan & Gas Bumi Bersatu (FSPPB), organized the “May Day Green Action” in Bunyu Barat Village, Bunyu District, Bulungan, North Kalimantan, on Friday, May 2, 2026. The activity involved 180 participants, including PEP Bunyu Field employees, representatives of the Bunyu sub-district leadership forum (Muspika), and FSPPB representatives, through tree planting in office areas and plastic waste cleanup along public roads surrounding the Company’s operational areas.

Supporting National Energy Availability and Security, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Exceeds Oil and Gas Production Targets in the First Quarter of 2026

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) recorded positive performance in the First Quarter of 2026 by successfully exceeding its oil and natural gas production targets. As of the end of March 2026, through its subsidiaries and affiliates in the Kalimantan region, PHI was able to produce 60.44 thousand barrels of oil per day (mbopd) and 619 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd), equivalent to approximately 120 percent and 105 percent of this year’s production targets.

Enhancing the Reliability of Upstream Oil and Gas Facilities, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam Increases Handil Field Production

Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) has completed the Handil Rejuvenation Program at Handil Field, one of the main oil fields in the Mahakam Working Area (WK) in East Kalimantan that has been operating for more than 50 years. The program aims to improve the reliability of production facilities in order to maintain the sustainability of upstream oil and gas operations while supporting the achievement of energy self-sufficiency in line with the Indonesian Government’s Asta Cita agenda.
