PHI manages oil and gas Working Areas (WK) located in East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and North Kalimantan provinces. Most of the oil and gas WKs are ex-termination and are oil and gas fields that have matured and have been operating for decades. PHI continues to work hard to maintain production levels, increase reserves, maintain the integrity of all production facilities, and maintain the economics of these assets.
PHI is the holding company of PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), the operator of the Mahakam Working Area. PHM is one of the main gas and oil producers in Indonesia.
As a subsidiary of PHI, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) took over the management of WK Sanga Sanga, which has been operating for more than 50 years.
PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) keep their commitment to supply oil and natural gas from Kalimantan Timur offshore.
We also manage oil and gas fields, which is, belongs to PT Pertamina EP and PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, and consists of Sangasanga Field, Sangatta Field, Maratua Field, Tanjung Field, Bunyu Field, Tarakan Field, Nunukan Field, East Ambalat Field, Simenggaris Field, Ambalat Field, Bukat Field, and PT Pertamina Hulu West Ganal.
