We have succeeded in producing hundreds of millions standard cubic feet of gas per day, thus establishing PHI as the top ten gas producer in Indonesia. In 2018, our gas production reached almost 1 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day.
In gas operation and production, we implement strategies to retain the natural production decline of the mature fields. The strategies have successfully retained the gas production decline rate to only 12% of the natural gas production decline rate of 49%. Our natural gas production commercialization is carried out via a sales portfolio through domestic pipeline gas, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
PHI’s marketing of LPG for domestic use adds commercial value to PHI’s gas production and reduces LPG imports, which positively impacts the country’s assets.
