HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) Excellence is the main aspect we carry out in realizing the Company’s goals. HSSE is consistently implemented in all of the Company’s business activities, from drilling to audit system, and is promoted as a culture in the Company.
All of our operations are planned and carried out to a high standard to ensure the health, safety, and security of workers, communities, and the environment. The following indicators reflect the outcome of our excellent HSSE implementation:
Reduce the Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR)
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) challenges are very crucial to the operation process. Nevertheless, safety is a fundamental in carrying out operations. Therefore, we managed to record a TRIR figure of 0,11, which is the permissible threshold. We continuously do mitigation efforts to reduce the TRIR rate every year.
Obtain beyond compliance “GREEN PROPER” rating from MoEF
Innovation in the social and environmental field is a manifestation of our commitment to global sustainability. Our environmental management performance is supported by corporate social & responsibility featured programs that have been recognized by the Government of Indonesia through the Green and Gold PROPER rating from Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia.
In 2022, 4 of our oil and gas fields received Gold PROPER rating and 5 other oil and gas fields received Green PROPER rating.
Sustainability Pertamina Expectations for HSSE Management Excellence (SUPREME)
PHI implements the HSE Management System referring to the SUPREME implementation guide issued by PT Pertamina (Persero).
In 2022, SUPREME Audit received a Light Green Category for Zona 9 and Zona 10, and a Yellow Category for PHE Simenggaris.
