PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Exceeds First-Half 2026 Production Targets, Sustaining Oil and Gas Operations and Supporting National Energy Security

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s energy availability and security by delivering positive performance that exceeded its targets in the first half of 2026. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, PHI recorded oil production of 59.3 thousand barrels per day and gas production of 621 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), equivalent to 116.1 percent and 105.4 percent of the respective targets set in the company’s 2026 Work Plan and Budget (RKAP). These achievements were accompanied by strong safety performance, with PHI recording 73.1 million safe working hours, zero Number of Accidents (NoA), and a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.03.

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and one of its subsidiaries, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), held the signing of the Renewed Collective Labor Agreement/ Perjanjian Kerja Bersama (PKB) for the 2026–2028 Period together with the Labor Union/Serikat Pekerja (SP) in Jakarta on June 25, 2026. Under the theme "PKB as a Pillar for Strengthening Human Resources for National Energy Sovereignty," the signing marked a strategic momentum for collaboration between the Company and its workers in driving safe, reliable, compliant, and sustainable operations and business performance.

PHI, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, and SKK Migas Kalimantan Sulawesi Conduct Monitoring and Evaluation of CSR Programs to Strengthen Positive Community Impact

Balikpapan– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), together with the Directorate General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources/Direktorat Jenderal Minyak dan Gas Bumi Kementerian ESDM (Ditjen Migas KESDM) and SKK Migas Kalimantan Sulawesi Representative Office (SKK Migas Kalsul), conducted a working visit to the company&'s Community Involvement and Development (CID) program sites in East Kalimantan on June 30–July 1, 2026. The visit was carried out as part of a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) initiative at two flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs: the Sungai Hitam Lestari Ecoriparian Program in Kutai Kartanegara and the Waste to Energy for Community (Wasteco) Program in Balikpapan.

Makassar – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tarakan Field introduced North Kalimantan Batik created by Kubedistik (Disability Batik Joint Business Group) to the national stage during the Road to the 46th Anniversary of the National Handicraft Council (Dekranas), held in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on July 10, 2026. The presence of this batik product reflects the Company&'s commitment to promoting inclusive community empowerment through the development of a creative economy rooted in local wisdom. Kubedistik is a business group formed to strengthen the economic independence of persons with disabilities in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan, and has been a partner in PEP Tarakan Field&'s CSR program since 2019.

Two Sejadi Development Wells Flow Nearly 1,900 BOPD, PHKT Increases National Oil Supply

Balikpapan, June 16, 2026 – PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) has successfully recorded an additional production of nearly 1,900 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) from two development wells in the Sejadi Field located offshore East Kalimantan. The additional production, recorded on June 12, 2026, provides additional oil supply to support energy availability and strengthen national energy security.
