Pulau Bunyu, Kalimantan Utara – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field dan PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Nunukan Company melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat seputar pencegahan dan kesiapsiagaan terhadap kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla) di Kecamatan Bunyu, Kabupaten Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara pada Kamis, 17 September 2026. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk mendorong peningkatan pemahaman dan kesiapan masyarakat sehingga dapat bersama-sama menjaga lingkungan dan menciptakan wilayah yang aman dari karhutla.

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) has again earned recognition in corporate communications, winning seven awards at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Indonesia Awards 2026. The awards were presented during the IABC Indonesia Awarding Night 2026 at Le Méridien Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Friday, September 18th, 2026. This year, the IABC Indonesia Awards featured two main categories, namely the Impactful Communications Awards (ICOMMA) and the Impactful Public Relations Awards (IMPRA), recognizing innovative and strategic communication practices that deliver meaningful impact to organizations and stakeholders. IABC Indonesia President Elvera N. Makki officially opened the event.

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT)&'s consistent efforts to optimize production from existing oil and gas wells have yielded positive results through the successful optimization of the Sepinggan V-7 Well, with oil production reaching 710 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), more than double the established target. In addition to oil, the Sepinggan V-7 Well also produces approximately 0.8 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD), exceeding the initial target of 0.5 MMSCFD (September 4, 2026).

Balikpapan – In commemoration of Orangutan Day on August 19, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) continues to strengthen its support for orangutan rehabilitation and habitat restoration efforts. Through collaboration with Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation, PHI, through its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), and its affiliates, namely PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangasanga Field and Tanjung Field, supports orangutan adoption programs, rehabilitation needs, and vegetation restoration in wildlife habitats, particularly around the Company’s oil and gas operational areas in Kalimantan.

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) continues to strengthen its efforts to optimize oil and gas production through the implementation of a hydraulic fracturing program on several wells in the Mutiara and Pamaguan Operational Areas in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Implemented throughout 2023–2026, the program supports the company&'s strategy to maximize reservoir potential, increase production, and maintain the sustainability of the national energy supply.

Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening human capital development by improving access to education and healthcare through the SHU Ecovation Day: Lensa Energi program. Initiated by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), the program provides eye examinations and eyeglasses for elementary school students as an early detection initiative for visual impairments that may affect the learning process. Through this program, PHM engaged schoolchildren living around the company’s operational areas in the Mahakam Delta, namely Muara Kembang Urban Village and Kutai Lama Village, on August 3 and 4, 2026.
