“We are grateful for RSPB that facilitated this vaccination. Hopefully everything goes well and can prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Kalimantan Region,” Chalid said.
The government currently opens the opportunity for businesses to support the national COVID-19 vaccination program through Gotong Royong Vaccination (VGR) program. VGR is a vaccination program for workers and their families funded by the business or legal entities.
Since March 2021, PHI conducted Covid-19 vaccination to 3,447 workers from the total 18,900. There were 15,543 workers that had yet to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. In line with Indonesia President Joko Widodo's directive to encourage vaccination acceleration, PHI supported the government's 70% vaccination target, which was equal to 13,230 workers, which would be implemented gradually according to the availability of the vaccine.
PHI is committed to apply COVID-19 protocols from the government consistently and continues to collaborate with all stakeholders to manage oil and gas production to achieve national energy security.
