Jakarta– In the Town Hall Meeting (THM) on Monday, 7 August 2023, President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) John Anis explained the company's performance in the first semester 2023. They invited all employees to support the achievement of the company's oil and gas production target in 2023.

Until June 2023, PHI's oil production performance was more than 61 thousand barrels per day (MBOPD). Meanwhile, gas production exceeded the company's target of more than 740 million standard cubic feet (MMSCFD).

Responding to upstream oil and gas operations and business challenges, John Anis conveyed the company's commitment to continue encouraging the emergence of ideas, innovation, and application of technology that can support safe, effective, efficient, and reliable operations. John added that it is important to see opportunities to optimize the value of assets owned through synergy and a borderless strategy.

"The spirit of synergy and a borderless strategy is needed to achieve business targets and the company's vision, namely to become a world-class oil and gas company," he said. John also invited all officers to be ready for the challenges of managing oil and gas operations and business, which are full of dynamics.

John added that every employee needs to support the success of the company's strategic steps in the form of aggressive exploration, baseline and development optimization, borderless operation synergies, cost optimization, commercial portfolio optimization, and maintaining the reliability of production facilities.

This Town Hall Meeting activity took place in a hybrid manner which was attended by the board of commissioners and directors of PHI, as well as more than 1,200 PHI workers from the head office in Jakarta, the Balikpapan operations office, and the Zone 8, Zone 9 and Zone 10 fields in Kalimantan. On this occasion, PHI's board of commissioners and directors had the opportunity to greet workers directly through an interactive session.

In his remarks, the Main Commissioner of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, Adriansyah, expressed his appreciation and pride to all employees for their hard work and achievements in the first semester. Adriansyah also invited all Officers to continue working smart and hard, in facing the challenges at the end of 2023, by prioritizing HSSE as a shared responsibility.
