Balikpapan - Bekapai Field, located in PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) work areas, with the support from SKK Migas and   PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) as its parent companies, reached 10 years without Lost Time Injury (LTI), equivalent to 8,221,414  work hours, on August 27, 2021. 

PHM Officers in Bekapai Fields had carried out many HSSE programs and campaigns to ensure the security and safety of their operations. The programs and campaign include HERO (Health Evaluation Prior to Risky Operation), BEDIL (Basic Emergency Intervention Drill for All), SIMPLEX+ (Simple Exercise +), JATARI (Jaga Tangan dan Jari/Watch Your Hands and Fingers), Bekapai SIAP (Safety, Integrity, Attitude, Productivity), SALAM (Saling Mengamati/Watch Each Other), and TEMAN (Tegur Jika saya tidak Aman/Call If I’m Not Safe).

General Manager of PHM, Agus Amperianto, expressed how proud he was of this achievement. “I hope Bekapai field and all other fields in PHM will be able to always prioritize safety and security at work so that all PHM Officers can go home safely to meet their families. Don’t forget to always follow the Covid-19 health protocol,” added Agus.

President Director of PHI, Chalid Said Salim, also expressed his happiness for Bekapai field’s achievement. “This achievement proves the good cooperation between the management and all PHI Officers, particularly in Bekapai Field. This proves that all policies and rules that the management put forward can be implemented properly,” he said.
