Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) and SKK Migas handed over the samboja training and productivity development center (BP2TK) building to the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government (6/10/2022).

The signing of the handover was officially carried out by PHM, SKK Migas, and the Kutai Kartanegara Regency followed by a symbolic procession of handing over the BP2TK building. On this occasion, the Regional Secretary of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, DR. H. Sunggono, Drs. MM., Head of the Transmigration and Manpower Service of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Achmad Hardi Dwi Putra, and Muspika in Samboja and Muara Java Districts were present. 

Representing PHM management, Phm Senior Manager of Sub Surface Development Planning Ferico Afrinas explained the purpose of building the BP2TK Building as an employment clinic or Job Training Center in supporting the development of various vocational pieces of training for the kutai Kartanegara community, especially in the company's operational area.

"We are committed to running Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). This building is part of our CSR program in the field of education in the form of community capacity building," ferico said.

According to Ferico, the BP2TK building can be directly used for training activities, training, and certification tests for BNSP Operator Blasting & Coating for the people of Samboja and Muara Java Districts on October 6-9, 2022, with 25 training participants initiated by PHM. In addition to training by PHM, there are two other training supported by PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT), namely Food Security Training and Basic First Aid, and carried out by PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), namely the Digital Literacy training program.

On this occasion, Kutai Kartanegara Regency Secretary Sunggono stated that the BP2TK Building can be used for young people in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency area to improve their skills and training, which of course cooperates with surrounding companies and can be utilized to the fullest extent of its use for the community.

Meanwhile, SKK Migas Business Support Deputy, Rudi Satwiko, said that the construction and renovation of the BP2TK building in Kutai Kartanegara Regency is a form of support for the upstream oil and gas industry to the local government program, that is The Kukar Idaman Dedication, namely the Kukar Ready to Work initiated by the Regent of Kutai Kratanegara.

"This BP2TK Building is hoping to become a training facility center for the formation of superior, quality, and competitive Kukar human resources in meeting work needs and job creation," said Rudi Satwiko.
