Denpasar – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and its Subsidiaries and entities under Subholding Upstream Regional 3 made another achievement by winning eight awards at The 8th Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2023 event, which was held in Denpasar (17/03/23).
PRIA is an evaluation and appreciation event that reflects the highest achievement in communication and public relations/PR performance of corporations, ministries, institutions and local governments, which participants from all over Indonesia attend. PRIA is a recurring event held by PR Indonesia. This year the event was followed by 836 entries divided into seven sub-categories: Owned Media, Digital Channels, Crisis Management, Annual Reports, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs, PR Programs, and PR Department.
The judging will be held in a hybrid manner from 13 February to 17 February 2023, involving 16 judges from senior PR practitioners, prominent journalists, senior academics, to PR Gurus.
PHI Senior Manager Relations, Farah Dewi, said that since first participating in the PRIA event last year, the company had won awards in various categories, internal tabloids, company websites, and CSR programs.
"The printed version of the Energia Kalimantan tabloid, together with six of the Company's CSR programs, won the PRIA 2023 award," explained Farah.
As for this year, the company won 7 Silver Winners in the CSR Program Category Community Based Development Sub Category, which was contributed by the Swamp Forest and Nelayanku Hebat Program assisted by PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), Coastal Guard Program (JAPES) fostered by Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga, Integrated Farming Program Setaria Group Social Innovation System (Tante Siska) enabled by Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field, Prangat Baru Village Coffee Luwak Village Program (Kapak Prabu) fostered by PT Pertamina Hulu East Kalimantan (PHKT), Waste Free Work Alliance Program (Wet Root) encouraged by Pertamina EP Tarakan Field. Meanwhile, the Jirak Village Acil Business Group Program (Kuas Jirak), assisted by Pertamina EP Tanjung Field, received a Bronze Winner rating.
According to Farah, the increase in the number of awards received by the company in the field of CSR is evidence of an increase in the company's good performance in community development and empowerment programs in the company's operating areas in Kalimantan.
"We collaborate with all stakeholders, especially the community and local government, in carrying out the company's CSR programs to create shared values and benefits," explained Farah.
