PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), in partnership with Pertamina Central Hospital held Corporate Wellness Program at PHI's Headquarter, Elnusa Building on Friday, 24 January to commemorate the 2020 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) month.
The event was held after it was revealed that 70% of workers had risk factors and advanced knowledge on health based on the 2019 medical check up (MCU).
PHI President Director Bambang Manumayoso said that the MCU result should immediately be followed up so all workers would be healthy and would not disrupt their performance.
"The program was not only held for PHI Headquarter's employees, but also everyone on the field. We will conduct surveys to see the workers' lifestyles and find a solution to improve their health," he said.
Meanwhile, PHI Commissioner Iman Prasetyo Moelyadi welcomed the event as he believed that good health affected the company's performance and achievements.
"Hopefully we can reach our zero fatality target. This is one way to reach it. With good intention, supported by good health, insya Allah (God willing) we can work better and safer from fatality risks," Iman said.*
