Solo- PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), its subsidiaries, and affiliates won 12 awards in the Awarding Indonesia Social Responsibility Award (ISRA) 2024. ISRA is an award event for practitioners and implementers of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that meet sustainability principles and impact community welfare.

The awarding took place at the Grand Mercure Hotel, Solo Baru, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Forestry/ Wakil Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK), Alue Dohong. In his remarks, the Deputy Minister of KLHK said that the challenges of climate change require joint mitigation efforts, one of which is through the CSR program of business actors by realizing programs that involve the community.

This year, the ISRA 2024 awards ceremony carries the theme "Confronting Climate Change: Solutions to Revive." PHI Group won two Platinum category awards, three Gold category awards, five Silver category awards, one Bronze category award, and one conference award.

Sr. Manager Relations Handri Ramdhani said that the Company runs various CSR programs with the main focus on the economy, education, health, environment, and disaster management to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). "Thanks to implementing these CSR programs, Alhamdulillah, we were given 12 awards, which are certainly very proud. We would like to thank all stakeholders who have been with us in implementing CSR programs so that our commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles can continue," he said.

PHI subsidiaries and affiliates that received ISRA 2024 awards are PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) with two Silver awards for Sekolah Negeri Terapung Program (Education category) and Mahakam Kuliner Program (Women Empowerment category). Then PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) received two awards in the Economic Empowerment category, namely the Gold award for the Balanipa Program and the Silver award for the Jagoan Usaha Kompetitif Program.

Furthermore, PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangatta received a Platinum award for the Dewi Kelulut Program (Environmental Empowerment category), PEP Sangatta Semberah Field received a Silver award for the Empowering Community through Organic Sustainable Farming in Semberah Area Program or abbreviated as ECO-STEP Semberah (Economic Empowerment category), PEP Tanjung received a Gold award for the Kuas Jirak Program and Silver for the 10K Planting Program, followed by PEP Sangasanga who won a Platinum award for the Sungai Hitam Lestari Program (Biodiversity category). Furthermore, PEP Bunyu received a Gold award for the Mantab Betul Program (Economic Empowerment category), and PEP Tarakan participated in the Conference by presenting the Waste Free Work Free Alliance Program (Research Article category). 

PHI also won another award, a Bronze award for a Video Profile of Featured CSR Programs (CSR Video Documentation category).

Meanwhile, PHI Communication Relations & CID Manager Dony Indrawan said that all the awards obtained are recognition for successfully implementing the Company's CSR programs. "This success encourages us to continue developing CSR programs around the company's operational areas that are right on target, innovative, and sustainable while encouraging the independence of the beneficiaries and the community," added Dony.
