PHSS Receives Award from the Ministry of PDTT in the Nusantara XXIII Appropriate Technology Title

Cirebon, West Java – PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) received an award from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) in the annual national event of the XXIII Archipelago Appropriate Technology (GTTGN) Title held at Aston Cirebon Hotel & Convention Center, Wednesday (19/10/2022). 

The GTTGN activity is the culmination of a series of all processes of the Appropriate Technology (TTG) competition, both innovation competitions, the Appropriate Technology Service Post (Posyantek) competition, and the TTG Unggulan competition that have been carried out previously in stages from districts/cities, provinces to the national level to answer the needs of the community to accelerate the development of underdeveloped areas and transmigration.   

The existence of oil and gas land utilization cooperation carried out by PHI Zone 9 in the operation areas of disadvantaged villages and transmigration makes a good collaboration between PHSS and kemedas PDTT in supporting the implementation of government activities by contributing to the community. PHSS's support includes providing coaching fees to the winners of the GTTGN competition to motivate creators of appropriate technology to innovate.

For this support, PHSS received an award certificate "for its commitment to the development of Nusantara Appropriate Technology," which was handed over by the Minister of Disadvantaged Development villages and Transmigration Abdul Halim Iskandar directly to the General Manager of Zone 9, Andre Wijanarko at a dinner with the governors, regents, service heads and related officials at the pavilion of the Cirebon Regent's house, Tuesday (10/18/2022).

In this GTTGN event, PHSS also participated as a resource person in a workshop with the central theme: Development of innovation &TTG villages in supporting food security after the COVID pandemic after the opening ceremony on Wednesday (19/10/2022). Elis Fauziyah, Head of Comrel & CID Zone 9, delivered a presentation on the Saliki & Tante Siska Social Water Supply System (WSS) Innovation for Community Empowerment of Saliki Village and Sarijaya Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. 

In her presentation, Elis explained the company's steps through the PHSS CSR program in Saliki Village through Bumdes Mekar Sejati which has succeeded in giving birth to TTG in managing clean water for the community through the innovation of activated charcoal biofilters from coconut waste as an environmentally friendly natural purifier.

Selain itu, Elis menjelaskan bahwa program CSR pada kelompok petani Setaria di kelurahan Sarijaya kecamatan Sanga Sanga yang merupakan mitra binaan PEP Sangasanga Field telah lahir inovasi TTG Damkar atau Destilasi Asap Sekam Bakar dalam program CSR unggulan Tante Siska. M. Hasan Novriyanto, local hero dari Kelompok Setaria, turut hadir memberikan testimoni tentang kegiatan kelompoknya.
