Jakarta, December 2020 – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), one of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia's subsidiaries, is the only company that received two SKK Migas Awards in the 2020 International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas. PHM received the Cost Optimization Best Initiative dan Career Development Monitoring (CDM) awards. These awards were handed online on 4 December 2020, with SKK Migas Head Dwi Sutjipto and its management present in the award.   The Cost Optimization Best Initiative award received by PHM was a form of appreciation to the CLEOPATRA (Cost Effectiveness and Lean Operation of Mature Assets) program to optimized the 2019 budget.

Agus Amperianto, PHM General Manager said that the award would boost the company's energy and spirit to continue and develop innovation, initiatives and value creation to be more efficient and effective in running exploration and production activities in the Mahakam Work Area. “Through CLEOPATRA, PHM is ambitious to make its Opex and Capex be more efficient in a sustainable manner.  We believe that we can reach it with the support and collaboration with all stakeholders,” he said.   As for the CDM award for PHM, Agus said it was a recognition for the company's officers dedication and hard work in achieving the oil and gas production target, and at the same time, ensure that there were no work accidents. “I'm so proud of PHM management and officers, in Jakarta, Balikpapan or on the field,” Agus said.

Agus added that the CDM award motivated PHM workers and management to improve the human resources quality to achieve the current and future business targets.
