Balikpapan - As a form of commitment in running a safe and secure operations, one of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia's subsidiaries, PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) officially launched the Virtual Demo Room - Integrated Safety and Operation Learning Center on 7 February 2020 at Pasir Ridge Balikpaapada tanggal 7 Februari 2020 di Pasir Ridge Balikpapan.

Pertamina leaders, such as HSSE Corporate Management System VP Iwan Jatmika, PHKT Director and PHI HSSE VP Feri Sri Wibowo, MP2 Directorate HSSE VP Representative Ahmad Muslimin, Upstream HSSE VP representative Agung Nugroho (PHE Simenggaris QHSSE Manager), PHM Executive VP Anto Sunaryanto, PTC President Director representative Linda Delina (PTC Operational Director), PHSS QHSSE Manager Benny Rahadian, RU V HSSE Manager Muslimin, EP Asset V HSSE Manager Gelar Winayawidhi Suganda, MOR VI Supply & Distribution Region Manager  M. Hariyansyah, and MOR VI HSSE Regional Manager Andri Prasetyanto attended the event.

During his speech, PHKT General Manager Agus Miftakhurrohman said that the he hoped the Demo Room could significantly improve the workers' competene on  safety, especially in grow understandings and commitment on the 3 Golder Ruls and Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) in a more interactive manner. "With a good collaboration between PHKT-PHI team, the Virtual Demo Room - Integrated Safety & Operations Learning Center will be managed professionally with planned continuous improvements since we "Unlock The Future" which becomes the slogan for the demo room with 4.0 technology in Pertamina,” Achmad Agus said. PHKT Director Feri Sri Wibowo also said that the virtual room was the first step in strengthening the company's employees and partners' competence.

The main goal was not just to create benefits for PHKT and PHI employees and partners, but also for other Pertamina subsidiaries in nearby areas, such as Pertamina EP Asset V, MOR VI, and RU V, as well as with training partnership with PTC.

The sentiment was echoed by Iwan Jatmika, Pertamina HSSE Management System VP, who said that the PHKT Virtual Demo Room was an important element to ensure one of CLSR pillars, which was 'competence' would be stronger for all of Pertamina employees and partners, especially to those who were faced with the highest work risks on a daily basis. The Virtual Demo Room - Integrated Safety and Operation Learning Center will be an interactive and innovative learning center with a focus on comprehension and application of safe and secure work standards through  3D, Mixed Reality, hologram and Virtual Reality technology application and practice to create Beyond Culture  HSSE.
