Balikpapan, 15 Feb 2021 - PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Tmur (PHKT) handed out aids in the form of Food Truck and staple foods for the South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi disaster victims in early 2021. The aid was distributed on 15 February 2021 through East Kalimantan Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation.
The aid distribution was handed symbolically by PHKT General Managernbsp;Achmad Agus Miftakhurrohman to East Kalimantan ACT Foundation Leader, Andy Pradipta Ramadhan in PKHT Balikpapan Pasir Ridge office. As much as Rp 92 million of aid was distributed in the form of 1,282 packages of food truck for the victims in South Kalimantan and 89 staple food packages for victims in West Sulawesi.
During the aid distribution ceremony, PHKT General Manager Achmad Agus Miftakhurrohman said that the aid was part of the human solidarity of the workers supported by the company to raise funds through the Matching Fund scheme. “Helping others in need, caring and helping each other, as well as collaborating and partnering with all stakeholders are integral in our company's value, which is AKHLAK: Trustworthy, Competence, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptable, and Collaborative. We hope the aid can lighten the burden for all the victims in South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi,” Achmad Agus added.
Andy Pradipta Ramadhan, East Kalimantan ACT leader, also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the PHKT Management and Workers who cooperated in raising the funds and distributing the aid through East Kalimantan ACT. “We hope the aid can be well-distributed to the victims in South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi. We also hope that the partnership between PHKT and East Kalimantan ACT could continue in the future,” Andy added.
PHKT continues to commit in supporting humanitarian aid as one of the company's social responsibility. Various social responsibility programs have been conducted around the company's operation areas. Aside from the disaster aid, PHKT also collaborated with Pertamina Kalimantan Group last 10 February to contribute in distributing 13,250 masks to prevent and handle the Covid-19 pandemic in Balikpapan.
