Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) President Director Bambang Manumayoso, along with PHI Strategic and Commercial VP Danar Dojoadhi and HSSE Manager Benjamin Argubie, participated in the Management Walk Through (MWT) to its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), on 14-15 August 2019. Bambang visited Badang, Semberah and Mutiara fields in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan.

On the first day of the visit, after landing at the Samarinda APT Pranoto Samarinda Airport, the group went directly to the Badak Field to take a short break before continuing their journey to Semberah Field. The group started the visit on the first day to Elnusa EMR-01 Rig at the Semberah Field that was conducting a drilling operation on Semberah 142 Well. Several PHSS leaders also accompanied Bambang to Semberah 142 well, including Operations Support Senior Manager Budi Sri Santoso, Field Manager,Widhiarto Imam Subarkah and QHSSE Manager Benny Rahadian.

Bambang also talked with the workers during his visit to the Elnusa EMR-01 Rig. Bambang told them to maintain Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) aspects at work. “Maintain the excellent PHSS safety culture within Pertamina,” he said to the workers and PT PHSS field leaders.

The Semberah 142 Well was the sixth of nine wells that PHSS committed to drill this year in the Semberah Field. Bambang appreciated the workers' performance that were involved in the drilling operations, including from land procurement which reduced the risks of late production. &nbsp;&ldquo;All workers involved in the project should also increase the added value of this project to help achieve the production target with efficient costs,&rdquo; he said. Following his visit to Semberah Field, the group went to Badak 137 well in Badak Field to see the operations of Well Head Compressor.

The second day of the field visit, the group continued their journey through the rive to the Mutiara Field. There, the group visited the PDSI-52 (Pertamina&nbsp;Drilling Services Indonesia) Rig that was in operation at the Mutiara 961 well. Bambang reminded the workers to always pay attention to the HSSE aspect at work. 

Bambang, known for being a leader that had close relationships to the communities around the operation areas, reminded all PHSS workers to always pay attention to the communities' condition by conducting social activities. He also urged the workers to maintain their integrity and dignity during the two-day visit to PHSS. ***
