Balikpapan - The Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) made a virtual visit to PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) in the form of a Management Walk-Through (MWT), which is a subsidiary of PHI located in Zona 10 Regional 3 Kalimantan on 10 November (10/11).

The MWT activity, which is also a safety campaign was carried out by the President Commissioner of PHI, Adriansyah, Commissioner of PHI Taufan Hunneman and Rainoc, and was attended by the President Director of PHI, Chalid Said Salim who was accompanied by the General Manager of Zona10 Regional 3 Kalimantan, Raam Krisna.

This MWT activity carries the message of the Board of Commissioners to always increase safety awareness in all oil and gas production activities. The President Commissioner of PHI, Adriansyah, expressed his appreciation to the workers in the field, who diligently contributed to the Company. “HSSE is a very important aspect in carrying out operations in the purpose of the need to prepare in dealing with unexpected incidents. Every HSSE incident needs to be managed and regulated so there would not be any obstacle in carrying out effective and efficient operations," said Adriansyah.

On the same occasion, the President Director of PHI, Chalid Said Salim, reminded the importance of all PHKT management and workers to carry out operations and businesses that prioritize HSSE aspects. "Let's fix this together and provide understanding to colleagues and partners to work more cautiously with the aim to assess the potential hazards, especially in PHKT facilities that are older than other areas." said Chalid. Chalid also emphasized the importance of protecting hands and fingers from injury, this is in accordance with the PHI safety campaign, namely the Hand and Finger Injury Free Campaign.

General Manager of Zona 10 Regional 3 Kalimantan, Raam Krisna, conveyed an explanation of production performance and HSSE until October 2021. "PHKT continues to be committed to run oil and gas operations that are reliable, safe, trouble-free and environmentally friendly," said Krisna.

In addition to presentations which are related to production performance, HSSE, and rig activation, a dialogue was also held with the management and workers of Zone 10 in the Attaka and Sepinggan operating areas.
