JAKARTA – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) achieved Best of the Best award in the Upstream Improvement & Innovation & Award (UIIA) Pertamina Subholding Upstream Event held on December 1-3, 2021. UIIA is a prestigious competition for subsidiaries and business entities under the Pertamina's Subholding Upstream related to various innovations and improvements in all aspects of the company's business and operations.

In UIIA 2021, PHI managed to bring in 11 Platinum and 6 Gold Awards from 17 PHI's Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) that competed with other CIP groups which were in total of 100 groups.

In addition, PHI was also nominated for The Best RT Prove Nomination category, represented by the RT PROVE FOSPOR group (Zona 10) and The RT PROVE THICKTUBE group (Zona 9). PHI was also nominated for The Best I-Prove, represented by I PROVE SLIDER (Zona 8) and group I PROVE PERTAQUICK (Zona 8). Several other nominations for PHI are Special Recognition nominations for The Most Productive My Idea & Replication, The Best KOMET Influencer, The Best Quality Board, and The Most Inspiring Leader & Business Performance Excellence.

The President Director of PHI/The Director of Regional 3 Kalimantan, Chalid Said Salim, expressed his joy and appreciation to all of quality officers, management, and all PHI workers who have provided extraordinary support for this achievement.

“The innovations outlined in the CIP papers have been proven in providing significant benefits to the business and operations of PHI - Regional 3 Kalimantan. Certainly, the selection of PHI - Regional 3 Kalimantan as Best of the Best in the UIIA has marked PHI best performance," said Chalid

"The achievement of being Best of the Best UIIA 2021 should guide our performance and trigger enthusiasm of all the officers of PHI - Regional 3 Kalimantan to continue developing creativity and innovation that will support the success of operations and business of the oil and gas in many years to come," concluded Chalid.
