In two days, the semiloka discussed the process of procurement of upstream oil and gas goods and services as well as the registration process of CIVD and CSMS (Contractor Safety Management System). In addition, participants were given insight into how the registration process is and important things that need to be known and understood by local businesses to participate in the procurement process in the oil and gas industry.

Faisal Abdi expressed his hope that more local entrepreneurs will be registered in the CIVD database so that they can get a Letter of Replacement for Administrative Documents (SPDA), which is a condition in the procurement of goods and services and that local entrepreneurs can participate in the tender process. "As an example of local business actors who have succeeded, colleagues should actively monitor information on the CIVD website to get the latest information about what work is in the auction process in the upstream oil and gas industry in Indonesia," said Faisal.

In his remarks, Assistant 1 of Tarakan City, Drs. H. Tarmiji, M.H, expressed his appreciation to SKK Migas and PHE NC for their contribution to the development of Tarakan City. "The oil and gas industry has a big role in supporting the economy in North Kalimantan, especially in Tarakan City, and we have great potential to develop together in the upstream oil and gas industry," said Tarmizi.

Meanwhile, the Manager of Communications Relations and CID Dony Indrawan explained the company and the scope of Pertamina's oil and gas operations in Region 3 Kalimantan. Hoping that semiloka participants can be more familiar with partnership opportunities through the procurement process in the company.

"This activity is in line with the company's commitment to encouraging the progress of local businesses by opening up opportunities to more actively participate in the procurement process in the oil and gas industry. As a form of application of the principles of Environment, Social, Governance (ESG), we involve stakeholders, in this case, local efforts to provide support in every activity of the company's oil and gas operations and business," explained Dony.
