Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) in collaboration with Pertamina Hospital Balikpapan held the “Vaksin Gotong Royong” (VGR), vaccination phase 3 at the PHSS Badak Camp (12-13/10).

This vaccination is part of the activity of phase 3 VGR implementations carried out continuously from the previous stages in August and September 2021. A total of 260 workers, partners and their families received the vaccine called Sinopharm. Phase 3 of the VGR will continue at the Mutiara PHSS Field with the target of vaccination being given to 288 workers and partners.

PHSS Field Manager, Ade Diar Suhendar, stated that this activity is a form of PHSS commitment in providing protection to workers, work partners, and their families. “We hope that the entire PHSS family will soon be 100% vaccinated with two complete doses. This is also an effort to support the government's attempt to build herd immunity in the community," he said.

In his speech, Ade also informed to all participants to apply the COVID-19 health protocol with the 6M, namely: wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, reducing mobility, and avoiding eating together.

PHSS is part of Subholding Upstream Pertamina Regional 3 Zone 9, which manages oil and gas fields in Kalimantan region. In 2020, the average PHSS production for oil was 4.64 MMBL and gas 28.12 BSCF. PHSS carries out safe, effective, efficient and environmentally friendly oil and gas operations to support the achievement of national oil and gas production targets.
