Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), through its Compliance Function, held an Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) induction training on Tuesday (08/31). It was a follow up in SMAP implementation after PHM received the ISO 37001:2016 on SMAP Certification in January 2020. All PHM management teams and workers participated in this online training.

The speaker in the training was Pauline Arifin, an expert and practitioner in Lead Auditor (certified) Anti-Bribery Management System ISO 37001:2016. She presented materials such as: the background, the objectives, and the steps for certification in SNI ISO 37001:2016 SMAP, as well as the integration between Good Corporate Governance and SNI ISO 37001:2016 on SMAP.

General Manager of Zone 8, Agus Amperianto on the opening of the training expressed his hopes that it would broaden the participants’ view on anti-bribery and anti-gratification. “PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam is committed to build good company governance, support the government in preventing and eradicating corruption, and create a business with integrity. That’s the aim of today’s training, by upholding AKHLAK Principles and implementing SNI ISO 37001:2016 SMAP,” said Agus.

He added that the company held the SMAP SNI ISO 37001:2016 training not only to do its duty but also to encourage the implementation of anti-bribery culture and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in PHM in particular, and in Regional 3 Kalimantan in general, as well as to encourage the Officers to realize AKHLAK principles as the company culture and create harmony in performing their tasks in Pertamina through SMAP.

Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, as a Subholding Upstream Regional Kalimantan, also had held an online training on ISO 37001: 2016 about SMAP on 16 August 2021, in which the board of directors and the management participated.
