Jakarta - PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia won awards in various categories in the E2S Proving League 2022, Friday (29/7/2022). The E2S Proving League is a CSR award event organized by the Energy and Mining Editor Society (E2S) with the theme "CSR Collaboration: Building Community Resilience and Local Livelihoods Generation."

In this event, Zona 8, Zona 9, and Zona 10 won the awards. Zona 8 through Pertamina Hulu Mahakam won the Best of the Best E2S Proving League 2022 and the Platinum award in the Impact on Environment Program category in the Wasteco CSR program, Waste to Energy for Community. Zona 9 received two gold awards each from the Tante Siska Program, assisted by Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field (CSV Category), and Peri Sakti Program, assisted by Pertamina EP Tanjung Field (Sustainability Program Category). Zona 10 also presented a Platinum award from the Kubedistik program assisted by Pertamina EP Tarakan Field (Social Innovation Program Category) and two silver awards from Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur DOBS and Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur DOBU for the Social Innovation Program Category and the Education and Livelihood Skills Category.

Previously, as many as 22 companies in the Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) sector explained their respective CSR programs with their local heroes, Saturday-Sunday (23-24/07/22). Farah Dewi, Senior Manager of Relations of Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, confirmed the company's commitment to running Community Development Programs or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDG).

In the award announcement session, Dony Indrawan, Manager of Communication, Relations & CID Regional 3 Kalimantan, had the opportunity to share three main factors in managing CSR programs to be sustainable.

"To have sustainable CSR programs, we must first ensure that CSR programs can answer problems/challenges/issues that exist in the community, by utilizing local potential and resources, so that it has a significant impact on the real needs of the community.  Second, in the implementation of the program, we must empower the beneficiaries, and local heroes so that they have a sense of belonging and are actively inflicted to succeed in the program. Third, ensure that the organization or institution of CSR programs is built in the community so that the work cycle of program management runs effectively," said Dony.

The chairman of the E2S Proving League jury, Risna Resnawaty, conveyed a special note to the company to maintain the sustainability of the CSR program that has been carried out. "At this time, the community has been trained to analyze problems, be involved in the program, and need to be refined with exercises to improve their networking skills. Thus, independence arises, especially after the program is completed and the sustainability of the program can be realized," she said.
