Tanjung -- PT Pertamina EP Tanjung Field (PEP Tanjung), a part of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) Zone 9 Kalimantan Region held a “Probiotic Making for Aquaculture” training for PERISAKTI Partner Group and Kapar Village community in the Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan. The training took place at the Mutiara Patra Building on Monday, 7 June as part of the Kampar Innovative Aquaculture Center Program (Perisakti), one of PEP Tanjung's corporate social responsibility (CSR) in 2021.
The training was conducted offline with strict health protocols. Before entering the room, the participants and guests were required to wash their hands and got their temperature checked by medical officers and applied health protocols during the training.
During his opening speech, Murung Pudak District Head, who was represented by the Kapar Village Head Interim Official, Markuni, conveyed his appreciation to PEP Tanjung for organizing the training. He hoped to be more CSR activities that involved the community, especially in Kapar Village. Tabalong Regency Fisheries Agency Head, Mohamad Mugeni, also said that he hoped the program could be developed further. “We hope that the Perisakti program could be further developed through post harvest biofloc fish-processing to become Tabalong leading,” Mugeni said.
Tanjung Field Manager Sigid Setiawan, who opened the training program, hoped that more members of the community will be interested in the biofloc fish cultivation and participated in the Perisakti program so it would continue.
“The Perisakti program is an environment CSR program that applies Zero Waste concept where the biofloc waste water can be used as additional organic nutrients for plants. We hope the program can educate the Tabalong community, especially Kapar Village, in aquaculture using biofloc system,” he said.
The training was split into two sessions with instructors from the Fish Hatchery Technical Personnel from the Tabalong Regency Fisheries Agency. The first session was on Basic Theory and Probiotic Making, delivered by Pras Gilang Pramadan, and the second session was practicing the theory guided by Anugrah Hasriani.
