Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina EP Sangatta Field (PEP Sangatta Field) assisted in the form of the Tanah Datar Village Assistance Health Center building, Kutai Kartanegara Monday (24/10/2022) by the signing of the inscription by the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara, Edi Damansyah.

Puskesmas building handover officially at the Center for Integrated Agricultural Activities, Tanah Datar Village, Muara Badak District. The regent signed the inscription accompanied by PEP Sangatta Field Manager Abdul Rachman Para Buana, Muara Badak Arfan Sub-district Head, and Tanah Datar Village Head H. Anwar.

On this occasion, Neighborhood Association (RT) also assisted the community and inaugurated the CSR programs of companies operating in Tanah Datar Village, one of which was PEP Sangatta Field.

In his speech, the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara explained the existence of Muara Badak Sub-district, located in the coastal area as the economic zone of Kukar Regency and one of its potentials is the presence of the oil and gas industry in the area. "In return for the use of the area by the upstream oil and gas industry, it is appropriate for the company's contribution to be given to the community, especially those directly affected by the company's activities," explained Edi.

On the other hand, Edi and his entourage visited the location of the Tanah Datar Village Assistant Health Center, precisely in Gg. Tanjung RT 08 Dusun Selatan Tanah Datar Village, Muara Badak District. Edi appreciates the CSR/PPM program assistance included in the 2021 work plan and hopes the Company can provide additional supporting facilities for the Auxiliary Health Center to function optimally.

PEP Sangatta Field Manager Abdul Rachman Para Buana explained the Company's commitment to supporting local government programs and community needs in terms of gaining access to health services by constructing this sub-health center.

According to Abdul, the construction of this puskesmas is in line with the previous mandate from the Kukar Regent to support the improvement of health services for the community, especially around the Company's operational areas. "We will coordinate inputs on the need for operational support facilities for the Sub-Puskesmas with relevant parties within the company, the Kukar Health Office, and the local puskesmas administrators," concluded Abdul.
