Tanjung - Pertamina EP Tanjung Field, which is part of  Pertamina Subholding Upstream Regional 3 Kalimantan, Zone 9,   inaugurated the 2021 Innovative Kapar Village Fish Cultivation Program (Perisakti) by a symbolic gesture of spreading juvenile fish and opening fish ponds around Berkah Tani UPJA Warehouse Area, Kapar Village, Murung Pudak Sub-District, Tabalong Regency, Thursday (16/9).

In his speech, the Secretary of the Tabalong Regency Fisheries Department, Ahmad Robyani, S.Pt, M.A.P, Stated his hopes that PEP Tanjung Field’s Perisakti Program  could be beneficial for  the surrounding community. “We are grateful because through the spreading and inauguration of these ponds, Tabalong Regency is helped greatly in promoting the "Consume Fish Movement" and in meeting the annual fish consumption target,&rdquo.

On the same occasion, the Temporary Officer of Tanjung Field Manager, Johan Lil Mutaqqin, said that through the 2020 Perisakti program, the company had provided 3 fish ponds facilities and 2000 juvenile fish, as well as other supporting facilities.  For 2021,  Perisakti will provide 6 additional ponds with biofloc system and 9500 juvenile fish, as well as food facilities for one harvest. “The Perisakti program is the company’s implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility Program in economic and environmental sectors, which has been going on for three years. With the addition of juvenile fish and ponds, the recipients are expected to optimize the use of these facilities to increase their harvest and income,”.

The inauguration was done on-site, following a strict health protocol. The symbolic gesture of spreading  juvenile fish were carried out by representatives from Tabalong Regency’s Fishery Department, Kapar Village Government, PEP Tanjung Field, and recipient groups. The  juvenile fish consisted of 6000  juvenile catfish, 1500  juvenile tilapia , and 2000 juvenile carp.

Based on SKK Migas Integrated Operating System (SOT) data dated August 31 year-to-date, PEP Tanjung achieved oil production of 2037 BOPD and gas production of around 1026 MMSCFD. Besides Tanjung Field, other oil and gas fields that are parts of Zone 9 Regional 3 Kalimantan are PEP Sangatta, PEP Sangasanga and Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS).
