Bunyu, North Kalimantan – Management of Pertamina Upstream Subholding Region 3 Zona 10 conducted Management Walk Through (MWT) in several locations in the working area of PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field – the B-2109 well and the Green House & Main Gathering Station (April 20, 2022). The MWT is part of the Company’s commitment to improving safety performance in 2022.

General Manager of Zona 10, Djudjuwanto emphasized the importance of making safety a top priority for every worker and partner as constant mitigation of hazards in every aspect of work can minimize incidents.
“Each job has potential hazards with varying degrees of risk. One focus of the campaign in Region 3 Kalimantan is the Hand and Finger Injury Free (HFIF) program. Therefore, workers must wear PPE to reduce accidents, and all workers have the right to stop working shall there is a potential danger,” said Djudjuwanto.

The visit, which was also attended by Zona 10 HSSE Manager Sidik Masrilianto, was followed by Management Goes to Community (MGTC) to the Green House, one of PEP Bunyu Field’s flagship CSR programs. The Green House is a facility of hydroponic plants for production, education, research, and development. The facility is expected to become a production and learning center for the Bunyu community so they can grow hydroponic vegetables, which are cleaner and healthier.

Despite the declining trend of COVID-19 cases, Zona 10 remains committed to the following safety, commercial, and performance excellence principles in its business operations and oil and gas production and complying with applicable laws and regulations, particularly COVID-19 health protocols. These apply to all PEP Bunyu Field’s operational locations.
