Tarakan - In celebrate the month of Occupational Health and Safety (K3), PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tarakan Field again carried out blood donation activities to support the fulfilment of blood supply needs in the Tarakan region, North Kalimantan (10/03/2023). PEP Tarakan Field collaborates with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in this activity.

PEP Tarakan Field Manager Isrianto Kurniawan explained that this activity is part of the company's commitment to continue carrying out Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, especially for communities around the company's operational areas in line with efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 3, namely good health and welfare.

Isrianto added that the company always places health and safety aspects as a top priority in all of the company's upstream oil and gas operations and business activities. According to him, this activity concerns others and is part of K3-month socialization activities in the Tarakan region. 

"This activity is expected to be an inspiration for all people in Tarakan City and its surroundings to be more active in helping to increase blood supply and contribute positively to the community," said Isrianto.

On this occasion, Isrianto also expressed his appreciation to the medical team and volunteers who have helped and made a positive contribution to the community in the Tarakan region. 

"This activity is a positive effort to protect public health and safety. In addition, stakeholders can also support the company's operations and facilities, which are vital national objects," he concluded.
