Balikpapan- PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) has again recorded successful drilling, namely the TN-Q468 gas well in the Tunu Field, with a depth of up to 5216 meters using the deepest extended light architecture design ever drilled in the Mahakam Delta area.
General Manager of PHM, Setyo Sapto Edi, explained that besides producing faster and safer performance, the application of drilling with this extended light architecture design by PHM resulted in drilling cost savings of up to USD 1.8 million. -an average of about 27 days of drilling and costs up to USD 7 million. With this architectural design, PHM managed to drill the TN-Q468 well safely and securely in 18 days, thereby significantly reducing costs,” said Edi.
