Sangasanga – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangasanga Field held a curriculum vitae (CV) preparation training activity for grade 12 vocational and high school students in Sangasanga District, East Kalimantan, to support capacity building of pre-employment youth and as a preparation for entering the world of work (29/08/2023).

The training was attended by 170 participants from SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Sangasanga, SMK Negeri 1 Sangasanga, and SMA Negeri 1 Sangasanga, presented speakers from the Founder of the Indonesian Career Class, Teddy Diego Sulu as source persons. Representatives from the Sangasanga District Government and the Head of UPT Sangasanga-District Education Office were also present.

Sangsanga Field Senior Manager Sigid Setiawan said that the Company always carries out various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focus on this program is the 4th goal, namely quality education and the 8th goal, decent work and economic growth.

"In preparing youth to enter the workforce, not only formal education is important to hone, but also their skills.  The Company strives to provide training on how to make a good and correct CV so that the CV participants will make a company interested and pass to the next stage of recruitment selection, "said Sigid.

The head of the UPT Education Office of Sangasanga Tugio District expressed his appreciation to PEP Sangasanga Field for this activity and for supporting all participating students to continue their career paths after completing their education at SMK.

"In schools, there is nothing specifically taught to students. I  thank PEP Sangasanga Field for taking the initiative to hold this activity so that our students know what to prepare to enter the world of work," said Tugio.

In addition to discussing curriculum vitae, the Founder of the Indonesian Career Class, Teddy Diego Sulu, also provided tips and tricks for interview sessions with companies.

"A good CV is informative data and makes it easy for HRD to determine whether these colleagues are indeed suitable or not with qualifications. Similarly, during the interview session, a good interview is the one that successfully shows the potential, work intention, experience, and skills possessed by colleagues, especially those relevant to work, so that users and HRD are sure to choose, "said Teddy Diego.
