Muara Badak – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) with one of its subsidiaries, namely PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) have carried out technical guidance activity for Upstream Oil and Gas Security Management/Manajemen Pengamanan Hulu Migas (MPHM) National Vital Objects/Objek Vital Nasional (Obvitnas) for assistance and preparation for the Security Management System audit.

PHSS Field Manager Ade Diar Suhendar explained that this technical guidance activity is a collaboration with stakeholders to protect the safety and security of people, the environment, and company assets which are national vital objects.

"Following the Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) policy, through the implementation of the applicable Security Management System while still taking into account human rights principles through the application of Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR), the Company strives to prevent security disturbances and reduce the occurrence of security incidents throughout the Company's Operation Areas and Obvitnas," said Ade.

In addition, Ade added that this technical guidance activity is a good achievement since it is the first time it has been carried out in the upstream oil and gas industry, as well as collaborating with SKK Migas and cooperating with professional auditors specifically in the field of upstream oil and gas security; Which previously was done internally.

This activity was also attended by the Head of the Security Department of SKK MIGAS Rudy Fajar, on this occasion explained that the work of MPHM Obvitnas technical guidance activity at PHSS had been carried out well, with the assessment results reaching 86%.
