Jakarta - PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and its subsidiary, namely PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) have completed a preventive compliance program entitled socialization and training ISO 37001: 2016 concerning anti-bribery management systems (ABMS) for vendors and customers within PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia – Regional 3 Kalimantan on a hybrid basis (31/08).

The socialization and training were attended by around 280 people from internal and external PHI. This activity was the second year successfully carried out by PHI and PHM as ISO 37001: 2016 certified companies. This time, the deputy chairman of the KPK RI for the 2011 -2015 period, Adnan Pandu Praja, was present as a speaker. 

PHI Senior Manager Relations also serves as Phi's Chief Compliance Office, Farah Dewi stated that in addition to being a mandatory clause in the ABMS, this activity is also a means of internalizing the anti-corruption culture and implementing the AKHLAK values implemented by PHI and all subsidiaries.

"This activity to improve the anti-bribery culture and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) aspects at PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia and its Subsidiaries, as well as all stakeholders involved in our business processes, without exception for all Goods and Services Providers (Vendors) and Customers," said Farah.

Through socialization activities and training, SMAP is expected to eliminate all forms of bribery risks that exist in oil and gas business processes. "With a joint commitment, we believe that the values in ISO 37001: 2016 can cultivate and create a clean business environment from all forms of bribery, gratification, and KKN," he concluded.
