The activity aimed to strengthen the values of equality, inclusivity, and diversity in the workplace.
In his welcoming remarks, Yoseph Agung Prihartono, General Manager of Zona 10, emphasized the relevance of R.A. Kartini's struggle in the contemporary era. "Today, we do not just commemorate Kartini as a symbol of emancipation but revive her spirit to continue contributing and providing meaning in every era. The struggle of women is dynamic and demands sustainable resilience," he stated.
Yoseph also stressed that inclusivity must be realized through concrete actions across all levels of the Company, not merely as jargon.
This year's commemoration featured an Inspiring Talk Show with Farah Dewi, Vice President of Business Support at PHI. She shared insights on the strategic role of women in supporting a sustainable energy transition. Through real-life stories and professional experiences, Farah motivated attendees not only to witness change but also to become active agents of change in driving the energy industry's transformation, with a focus on sustainability.
In addition to the talk show, the event series was enlivened by various creative competitions designed to strengthen the spirit of collaboration and cultural preservation. These included a Traditional Dress Competition with the theme "Show Your Charm in the Embrace of Nusantara Heritage," an Inspirational Video Competition titled "Grow Through Challenges, Stronger by Energizing Each Other," and an Interactive Quiz focusing on equality and diversity. These diverse activities were participated in by management, employees, and partners from various functions, simultaneously affirming a shared commitment to maintaining and developing Kartini's values, which remain relevant and deeply rooted in the continuously transforming energy industry dynamics.
Meanwhile, the Head of Pertiwi Zona 10, Mangisi Herawati Napitupulu, delivered an inspiring message, "Every small step we take today is part of an ongoing history. Kartini is not just a figure from the past, but also our representation today and in the future."
