PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam Receives Academic Visit from Leiden University to East Kalimantan

Sepatin, East Kalimantan – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) received an academic visit from a delegation of Leiden University, the Netherlands, together with Mulawarman University/Universitas Mulawarman (Unmul) to the South Processing Unit (SPU) Field and the Pertamina Forest Environmental Empowerment Program (Tunu Inland) site in Sepatin Village, East Kalimantan, on Sunday (8/2/2026). The academic visit was led by Professor Steffen Nijhuis, who brought a number of postgraduate students from Leiden University, accompanied by Professor Irawan Wijaya and Unmul students.

PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Launches SWA Card at the Peak of the 2026 National OHS Month Commemoration

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) officially launched the Stop Work Authority (SWA) Card, which grants every worker the authority to stop a job if unsafe behavior or conditions are identified, without fear of it affecting their individual performance appraisal. The launch of the SWA Card took place at the closing of the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month/Bulan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Nasional 2026 commemoration held in Jakarta on 13 February.

Supporting National Energy Security, PT Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field Records Positive Performance at the Beginning of 2026

Sangasanga –  PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangasanga Field recorded a positive performance at the beginning of 2026, exceeding the Company’s target at 104.02 percent of the Corporate Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) target. With this achievement, PEP Sangasanga Field has maintained the positive production trend seen throughout 2025.

Various Innovations and Technologies Support PHI Group in Zona 9 to Surpass 2025 Oil and Gas Production Target

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), through PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tanjung Field, PEP Sangasanga Field, and PEP Sangatta Field, recorded oil and gas production realization exceeding the 2025 target. These four subsidiaries and affiliates of PHI in Zona 9 achieved oil production of 22.6 thousand barrels of oil per day (MBOPD), while gas production reached 105.369 million standard cubic feet per day (MMCFD).

Development Well Production Test, PEP Sangasanga Field Achieves Positive Oil Output from Existing Well Area

Kutai Kartanegara – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangasanga Field recorded positive results, with oil production reaching up to 520 barrels per day (bpd) from development well NKL-1183, located in Kutai Lama, Anggana Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. Drilling activities for Well NKL-1183 took place from December 14, 2025, to January 8, 2026. To date, Well NKL-1183 has demonstrated stable production performance, maintaining output above 400 bpd.
