Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), a Subholding Upstream Regional Kalimantan, through its  HSSE and Human Capital Functions for Regional Kalimantan had an initiative to hold an online in-house training on 9, 10 and 12 August 2021 for HSSE Officers in Zone 10.  Previously, similar training had been held for HSSE Officers in Zone 9 on 12-14 July 2021. This series of trainings aim to maintain the HSSE standard within the company

32 HSSE Officers in Zone 10 participated in the training, including those who were on duty in the field. The instructors were Regional 3’s and Zone 10’s HSSE internal teams.

Assistant Manager of HSSE Planning, MS & RM of Regional 3, Ook Heryanto said on the opening of the training:  the aim of these continuous trainings in all Zones in Regional 3 is to implement a standard understanding of HSSE post Subholding Upstream reorganization on 1 April 2021.

Muhammad Sodiqin, the Sr. Manager of Human Capital in Regional 3, stated that this series of training is a form of company’s commitment, implemented through its Human Capital Function, to improve Pertamina Officers’ competencies, particularly in HSSE.

Materials delivered in the training included: Rules, HSSE Regulation & Terminology, Contractor Safety Management system (CSMS), Risk Management, Basic Operation & Process Safety Management (PSM), Safe Work Practices, HSSE Observation, Safety Inspection & Audit, Security, Environment Management System, Emergency Respond & Crisis Management (ERCM), Occupational Health-Industrial Health (OH-IH), Safe Transportation, Performance Report & Campaign, Incident Reporting and Investigation.
