Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and PT Elnusa Tbk held a joint prayer gathering and provided charitable assistance for children in need at Baitul Hikmah Mosque, Jakarta, on Friday (5 December 2025). Similar activities were conducted simultaneously by PHI's subsidiaries and affiliates, namely PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT), PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tarakan Field, and PEP Bunyu Field. Through this initiative, assistance was distributed to more than 1,000 underprivileged children and families around the Company's operational areas.

PHI provided support to children from various social institutions, including Wisma Karya Bakti Children's Home, Dzurrotul Qur'an Children's Home, and the Baitul Qur'an At-Tibyan Foundation for Children in Need in Jakarta. Meanwhile, PHI's subsidiaries and affiliates distributed assistance to several foundations and care homes in Balikpapan and Penajam Paser Utara in East Kalimantan, as well as Tarakan and Bunyu in North Kalimantan.

Attending the event in Jakarta were PHI Vice President Production & Operations Achmad Jamaludin, representing the President Director of PHI; Finance Director of PT Elnusa Tbk Nelwin Adriansyah; the management of Baitul Hikmah Mosque; religious figure Ustadz Hasan Zuhri, Lc; as well as children from various care institutions and foundations in the Greater Jakarta area. Also present at the distribution activities were Zona 10 General Manager Yoseph Agung Prihartono in Balikpapan and Tarakan, North Kalimantan.

In his remarks, Vice President Production & Operations Achmad Jamaludin stated that the event reflected gratitude and a shared belief in the importance of prayer in accompanying the Company's efforts to carry out safe, reliable, and sustainable upstream oil and gas operations. "The prayers we offer together today remind us that the success of upstream oil and gas operations is not determined solely by expertise and discipline, but also requires protection and blessings from Allah SWT. Being together with the children today underscores that every achievement carries a responsibility to continue delivering benefits to society," he said.

He also expressed deep concern and prayers for communities affected by disasters in Sumatra. "We pray for the best for our brothers and sisters in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, that they are granted strength, resilience, and swift recovery from the calamities they have experienced," he added.

The joint prayer and charitable activity were conducted in a simple yet meaningful manner, creating a solemn and orderly atmosphere that strengthened togetherness, inner calm, and mutual respect among all participants.
