Jakarta - PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) held a Town Hall Meeting (THM) with the CEO and Halalbihalal attended by thousands of employees scattered across various locations, both at the headquarters in Jakarta and the operations office in Balikpapan, as well as onshore and offshore oil and gas fields in Kalimantan, on Wednesday (24/4).
The THM and Halalbihalal activities, conducted in a hybrid format, were attended by PHI's Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Meidawati, Commissioners Mirza Mahendra and Edi Eko Cahyono, PHI's CEO Sunaryanto, and management officials. Also present alongside employees in the offices and fields were GM Zona 8 Setyo Sapto Edi, GM Zona 9 Andre Wijanarko, and Acting GM Zona 10 Yoseph Agung Prihartono.
The THM is a regular meeting agenda between management and all employees led directly by PHI's CEO to provide the latest information on the company's performance and to invite all employees to give their best support for achieving the 2024 targets. The simultaneous Halalbihalal event this time, themed "Celebrate the Day of Victory with Boundless Togetherness Energy," serves as a celebration of Eid al-Fitr and strengthens the sense of family within the large PHI family to support increased company productivity.
In her address, PHI's Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Meidawati, extended Eid al-Fitr greetings and appreciated the dedicated work of employees during the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr to support PHI's smooth operations and national energy resilience. Additionally, Meidawati reiterated the importance of prioritizing HSSE aspects in PHI's operations to all directors and employees.
PHI's CEO, Sunaryanto, also emphasized that safety is the top priority in all activities to realize safe, reliable, and superior upstream oil and gas operations. Up to the first quarter of 2024, PHI recorded 27.5 million safe work hours. From a business performance perspective, PHI has also recorded positive trends supported by baseline performance and production in the Mahakam Working Area (WK), Sanga Sanga WK, and EastKal & Attaka WK.
"I invite all Officers to maintain this positive performance and encourage various innovations and the use of technology in producing energy efficiently," said Anto, Sunaryanto's nickname. Anto also expressed gratitude to the management for providing sufficient time for employees to communicate and gather with their families during Eid al-Fitr.
In addition to business performance, PHI has also received various awards for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate communication programs. In the first quarter of 2024, PHI was awarded five Kutai Kartanegara CSR Awards and 12 Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA).
