Supporting Energy Distribution, Pertamina Kalimantan Regional Upstream Subholding Signs 3 Agreements

Bali - PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) - Regional 3 Kalimantan Subholding Upstream Pertamina signed 3 Cooperation Agreements at The 4th International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil & Gas 2023, 20-22 October 2023.

The first agreement is between PT Pertamina EP and PT PLN (Persero) for the Tanjung Batu Power Center for a volume of 5 MMSCFD.

In addition, the signing of the sale and purchase of LNG between PT AMMAN MINERAL NUSA TENGGARA and PT Pertamina (Persero) as representatives of State sellers and Contractors with gas supply coming from the Sanga Sanga Working Area operated by PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga and the East Kalimantan & Attaka Working Area operated by PT Pertamina Hulu East Kalimantan.

Then the third agreement is the Procedure for oil sales, Election Not To Take In Kind (ENTIK), between SKK Migas, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Simenggaris, and PT Medco E&P Simenggaris.

"The agreement and cooperation commitment that we signed today is to strengthen Pertamina's Upstream Subholding business line, especially in the Kalimantan Regional 3 operating area," said John Anis, President Director of PHI, Wednesday (20/10). 

Furthermore, John added that the signing of the agreement document will further strengthen Pertamina's PHI-Regional 3 Kalimantan Subholding Upstream steps in meeting the Oil and Gas Production target of 1 Million Barrels of Oil per Day and 12 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas per Day by 2030.

The distribution of oil and gas energy sources is a concrete form of Pertamina in providing energy to facilitate industrial operations and can be enjoyed by the beneficiary communities.

"We believe that positive cooperation and synergy can make the company's operations more effective and efficient," concluded John Anis.
