Rhino Estuary- PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) held Socialization of Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) from an Early Age in the Company's operational areas (20/07/2023). This activity, which collaborated with the Muara Badak Village Government, was attended by participants consisting of children from Muara Badak Kancil PAUD, Muara Badak 2 Public Kindergarten, Muara Badak 002 Public Elementary School, and Muara Badak 007 Public Elementary School, all located in Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Present as resource persons at this socialization activity were several experts in the health sector, including Drg. Felik Sunarko, Dentist Dentist Dental Clinic Samarinda, dr. Erniyanti, SKM, UPTD Public Health Extension at the Muara Badak Health Center, and Dr. Rizal Lutfi Auliya Abdillah, Site Medical & Health PHSS.

Sr Supervisor Well & Plant Opt Patchouli, Askar, explained that this activity is one of the Community Development Programs (PPM) or the Company's CSR in Muara Badak Ulu Village in 2023, which focuses on the health sector. "Clean and Healthy Behavior is very important to be instilled from a young age for the good of himself and the surrounding environment," said Askar.

Head of Muara Badak Ulu Village, Ruslan Effendi, stated that this activity aims to raise children's awareness of maintaining personal hygiene, which can be done through small steps such as washing hands and disposing of trash in its place.

Meanwhile, Dr. Felik Sunarko, on this occasion, added the importance of maintaining oral hygiene as part of PHBS. "The way to avoid toothache is by knowing the causes of cavities and handling them, including reducing consumption of sugary foods and drinks, brushing your teeth diligently, and not being afraid to go to the dentist for control," he concluded.

dr. Erniyanti, SKM, also added it is necessary to develop a spirit of exercise, stay away from cigarette smoke, take a shower every day, urinate and defecate in the latrines, eradicate mosquito larvae, not spit anywhere, and be diligent in cutting nails as part of PHBS which must be made a habit of from an early age.

Meanwhile, Suhartini, as the Principal of the Kancil Muara Badak PAUD School, expressed her gratitude for implementing PHBS Socialization from an Early Age to students to increase their enthusiasm and awareness for a healthy life.
