Muara Badak – PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) handed over facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) to 4 Community Development Groups in Muara Badak Ilir Village, namely working Youth (PAKAR), Working UMKM (PUBER), LPTQ Muara Badak Ilir, and Coastal Fishermen Groups. Handover is done at the Muara Badak Ilir Village Hall(13/02/2023).

Acting FieldManagerPHSSArif Budimanexplained that this activity is part of the company's commitment to continue implementing community development programs or CSR in the company's upstream oil and gas operations. Muara Badak Ilir Village is one of the PHSS ring one area with the potential to be a fishing pier with various types of MSME businesses in which the community is involved.

"We believe that a thriving and independent society will support harmonious relationships and the company's operations and business continuity. Therefore, we continue to collaborate with all stakeholders, especially the community and local government, through corporate CSR programs to create shared values ​​and benefits.

Arif also expressed his appreciation to the village government and the people of Muara Badak Ilir Village for support to the company in realizing joint synergy on diverse community development programs.

This handover was attended by the Village Government of Muara Badak Ilir, BPD Muara Badak Ilir, Management representative PHSS, representative, and recipient group representative. Several facilities and infrastructure equipment have been provided, namely in the form of a 200life jacket, three ovens, one rice corn machine, 1 Riecat DTF machine, and help the renovation of the LPTQ secretariat to the Community Development group manager. Identifying infrastructure needs can be realized through a programmatic approach bottom-up, where the company involves stakeholders in preparing the program and its implementation.

Chairman of BPD Muara Badak Ilir, Iskandar, expressed his appreciation to PHSS for PHSS' commitment and support to the community in Muara Badak Ilir and appreciation to the village head for coordinating the allocation of funds for community economic development. Hopefully, this good synergy can continue to realize community welfare who live near the company.
