Kutai Kartanegara - Sangasanga Field, one of Pertamina EP’s (PEP) upstream oil and gas fields in Pertamina’s Zone 9 of Subholding Upstream Regional 3 Kalimantan, distributed food packages donation to the Soup Kitchen of Sangasanga Sub-district, on Friday, 21 August 2021. Adhitya Ryan Saputra, of HSSE Operation, handed over the donation to the Head of Sangasanga Sub-district’s COVID-19 Volunteer Team, Mulyadi, SPd.
Mulyadi, who also served as Head of Sangasanga Dalam Neighborhood, expressed his gratitude to Sangasanga Field because the donation will be used for helping community members who were affected by COVID-19. “We will process these food ingredients in the soup kitchen at Sangasanga Volunteer Center, and then distribute them to people who are currently in self-isolation,” he said. He also invited other elements of the community and other companies in Sangasanga to actively work together in easing the people’s burdens in this time of weakening economy because of the pandemic.
Separately, Senior Manager of PEP Sangasanga Field, Gondo Irawan, said that in addition to donating to soup kitchens, Sangasanga Field also held a “Blessed Friday” program, in which they distributed food ingredients to people in need in the vicinity of the company’s work area. Gondo appreciated the decreased trend of COVID-19 positive cases in Sangasanga region. He also reminded people to stay alert and stay disciplined in implementing the 5Ms health protocol as well as in following the PPKM (public activities limitation) policy implemented by the Government.
Based on SKK Migas Integrated Operating System (SOT) data dated 30 August 2021 year-to-date, PEP Sangasanga’s crude oil production reached 4,976 BOPD and gas production reached around 3.34 feet cubic per day. Besides Sangasanga, other oil and gas fields that are parts of Zone 9 Regional 3 Kalimantan are PEP Sangatta, Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), and PEP Tanjung.
