Sangasanga Field and Pertamina Hospital Balikpapans Joint Center for Vaccination Returns

Sangasanga, Kutai Kartanegara - PEP Sangasanga Field, which is part of Zone 9 Regional 3 Kalimantan, once again opened a Joint Center for Vaccination for all field workers and their families who resided in the vicinity of the company’s operational area. The vaccination center was opened for two days, 30-31 August 2021, with the support from Pertamina Hospital Balikpapan (RSPB). The first day of vaccination was for workers and families who lived in Sangasanga District, while the second day was for those living in Anggana and Samboja Districts.

In addition to be a continuous program to deal with COVID-19, the joint center also is also a campaign for the importance of vaccination in stopping the virus spread through body immune. The Sinopharm  vaccine used in this occasion, was given for workers and their family members who were 18 years old or over at the time and had not get their COVID-19 vaccination yet.

The event was opened at 08.00 WITA by the Senior Manager of Sangasanga Field, Gondo Irawan. “I hope all workers and families who are registered to get vaccinated here will use this opportunity. This vaccine is good for us all, do not worry too much about its side effects, because clearly this vaccine shows our joint effort in fighting against COVID-19 virus,” said Gondo.

The event recorded 266 registered participants, 100 people in Sangasanga, 155 people in Anggana, and 16 people in Samboja.

SKK Migas’s Integrated Operational System (SOT) data dated 01 September year-to-date reported that PEP Sangasanga’s oil production reached 5,029 BOPD and gas production was around 3.35 feet cubic per day. Beside Sangasanga, other fields in Zone 9 Regional 3 Kalimantan are PEP Sangatta, PEP Tanjung, and Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS).
