Balikpapan – PT Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga, both operating under PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Zona 9, together with PT Elnusa Tbk, received a Ramadan Safari and Board Greetings visit from the management of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), representing the Upstream Subholding, on March 1–2, 2026. The delegation was led by Exploration Director Muharram Jaya Panguriseng and included President Director of PT Elnusa Tbk, Litta Indriya Ariesca, and Zona 9 General Manager, Dadang Soewargono. On this occasion, the company also distributed donations to three orphanages located around its operational area.

During the Ramadan Safari and Board Greetings, the management-company personnel meeting served as an open forum for discussion, sharing aspirations, and strengthening collaboration to support successful upstream oil and gas operations, which play an important role in national energy availability and security. In addition, the Ramadan moment was used to strengthen further harmonious relations with surrounding communities, whose support is essential for the smooth and sustainable continuation of the Company’s upstream oil and gas operations.

On this occasion, Muharram stated that the company has a moral obligation to continue improving itself. “We must keep improving to become better, improving so that we can continue serving communities around our operational areas,” he said. He added that such improvement also means carrying out transformation for the Company’s sustainability, in terms of business, governance, and culture, to maintain Pertamina’s resilience today and in the future

The importance of occupational health and safety was also emphasized by management during a Management Walkthrough (MWT) at one of PT Elnusa Tbk’s rig locations currently operating in Semberah Field, managed by PHSS. In front of the workers, management reminded them to maintain safe, reliable, and sustainable operational performance consistently.

Dadang also underlined the importance of occupational health and safety in supporting Pertamina’s transformation and sustainability policies. “We must continue strengthening the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment, or HSSE, culture as a fundamental principle that is non-negotiable across all work activities within the Pertamina Group,” he added.

Through this Ramadan Safari and Board Greetings activity, PEP Sangasanga Field, PT Elnusa Tbk, and PHE reaffirmed their commitment to continue building synergy in delivering sustainable energy for Indonesia while spreading positive social impact to communities living around the Company’s operational areas in Kalimantan.
