Samarinda – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) with its parent company, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), and SKK Migas made a working visit to the Environmental Agency (DLH) of East Kalimantan, in Samarinda, Wednesday (3/8/22).
Frans A. Hukom, Head of Communication Relations & CID of Zona 8 stated that the visit was intended to strengthen the relationship, collaboration, and synergy that has been well established between PHM and DLH of East Kalimantan Province.
"PHM always coordinates with relevant stakeholders in all operations of the Company to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In this meeting, it was discussed about the Greening for Food program, the Livable program, and the Reporting of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Program in the East Kalimantan area through the AKSARA application," said Frans.
The event was attended by the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Environmental Service, the Head of SKK Migas Delegation of Kalimantan and Sulawesi, PHI and their Subsidiaries and Affiliates from Zona 8, Zona 9, and Zona 10.
Head of SKK Migas Kalimantan and Sulawesi Representative, Azhari Idris, explained that SKK Migas, PHI, and their Subsidiaries and affiliates are committed to doing their work obediently, applying the principles of good governance and prioritizing aspects of environmental safety and safety.
Meanwhile, the Head of DLH of East Kalimantan Province, Ence Ahmad Rafiddin Rizal, expressed his appreciation to PHM for continuing to coordinate with DLH, especially regarding environmental technical guidance to continue to improve the reporting system, adjusting to the regulatory system from the Ministry of Environment, and direction from the Governor of East Kalimantan.
"So far, PHM has complied with the rules in carrying out operations in the Mahaka Working Area and we appreciate it," concluded Rizal.
