Balikpapan – During the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), through its subsidiaries and affiliates under Zona 9, distributed assistance to orphanages across various operational areas. The initiative was carried out simultaneously at Zona 9 Head Office in Balikpapan and across all Zona 9 fields, including PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangatta Field, Tanjung Field, and Sangasanga Field.

This activity reflects the Company’s commitment to delivering positive energy with tangible impact for communities. The initiative not only represents social care but also strengthens harmonious relations between the Company and surrounding communities while reaffirming its dedication to sharing blessings through programs that directly benefit children in orphanages.

Through the Safari Ramadan programs organized at each field, the Company provided support to 12 foundations and social institutions in the form of financial assistance totaling Rp62,500,000 and 60 Qur'an waqf packages. This initiative is expected to deliver meaningful benefits, especially for children in orphanages, allowing them to experience Ramadan with greater joy and blessings.

In addition to distributing assistance, Safari Ramadan also served as a moment of fellowship among management, the Company, and the community. The interactions fostered during the program are expected to strengthen solidarity and social awareness, while creating mutually supportive relationships between the Company and communities around its operational areas.

Acting General Manager of Zona 9, Supriady, stated that the activity represents a concrete expression of the Company’s commitment to being present not only through energy operations but also by contributing to sustainable, positive social impact for the community.
