PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Wins Five SKK Migas Award 2024

Jakarta– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), through its subsidiaries PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) and PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), has won five SKK Migas Awards for 2024. The awards were presented by the Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities/Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas), Dwi Soetjipto, to PHI's President Director Sunaryanto during a ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jakarta on Tuesday evening (September 10, 2024).

The SKK Migas Award is an event organized by SKK Migas to recognize Contractors of Cooperation Contracts/Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) and key stakeholders for their performance and contributions to increasing national oil and gas production. This year's event is also part of the celebration marking 22 years of managing upstream oil and gas.

This year, PHM received four awards: The Best Inventory Management, The Best Cost Optimization in Project Management, The Best Achievement in Revenue Optimization & Cost Behavior (Cluster Production Above 100 MBOEPD), and First Place in Integrity Compliance and Ethics. PHSS won one award for The Best Exploitation and Operation Excellence (Cluster Production Between 10 to 50 MBOEPD).

Dwi Soetjipto stated that these awards recognize the hard work and extraordinary dedication of the KKKS and related parties in supporting the achievement of the target of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 12 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD). "The outstanding KKKS have demonstrated high commitment and capability in overcoming various challenges in the complex upstream oil and gas industry," he said.

Dwi also emphasized the importance of synergy among KKKS, the government, and other stakeholders when facing global challenges in the energy industry. He hopes the awards will inspire all parties to continue enhancing their contributions to the national upstream oil and gas industry. "These awards are both a recognition and a motivator to keep moving forward, working together to achieve national energy resilience. KKKS and key stakeholders are expected to continue innovating, collaborating, and strengthening their commitment to achieving the long-term targets that have been set," Dwi concluded.

The SKK Migas Award 2024 presented 31 award categories covering various aspects of performance and contributions from KKKS and key stakeholders.

PHI's President, Director Sunaryanto, expressed his delight at the awards received by the PHI group. Sunaryanto, also known as Anto, believes these awards result from excellent collaboration between the company, the government, and other stakeholders in maintaining the economic efficiency and productivity of oil and gas fields managed by the company in Kalimantan. In addition to winning the SKK Migas Award 2024, the PHI Group also excelled in several sports competitions organized by SKK Migas in collaboration with KKKS to commemorate 22 years of managing upstream oil and gas. The PHI Group achieved first place in men's team table tennis, first place in men's basketball, and third place in women's doubles table tennis.
