Jakarta—PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, managed to win 14 awards in the Community Involvement & Development (CID) Upstream Awards 2024. This achievement also crowned PHI Best of the Best and entitled it to the Rotating Cup of the President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) as Pertamina's Upstream Subholding.

The rotating trophy was handed over directly by PHE President Director Chalid Said Salim in an event at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel on Thursday (11/07). This year, the CID Upstream Awards 2024 with the slogan Shustaining Impact, contested nine categories followed by 250 entries. In addition to winning the highest Best of The Best Award, PHI also won five Gold awards, four Silver awards, three Bronze awards, and the Favourite award for Best CID Social Media Campaign for the Jaga Pesisir Kita "From Hero to Heroes" Program.

The CID Upstream Awards is a forum for competition within Pertamina's Upstream Subholding in managing and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Community Involvement and Development (CID) programs. This event also aims to evaluate and measure the quality of CSR programs carried out in Pertamina's Upstream Subholding environment through an assessment process by independent judges. Essential aspects of the assessment include planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, program sustainability, program impact, and program implementation reporting.

PHI Senior Manager Relations Handri Ramdhani appreciated the hard work of CID activists to become the best in the CID Upstream Awards 2024. Handri hopes that this award can increase the enthusiasm of PHI workers to continue working and have a sustainable positive impact on society.

Meanwhile, PHI Communication Relations & CID Manager Dony Indrawan explained that the success of the Company's CSR programs results from collaboration with all stakeholders, especially the community and government, which is carried out with good governance.

"The Company runs innovative CSR programs in various fields, such as economy, education, health, and environment, as a form of the Company's commitment to applying the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). CSR programs are structured and developed according to the results of social mapping of villages in the Company's operational areas to ensure these programs' positive impact and sustainability," added Dony.

• Best CID Program - Economy: Sungai Hitam Lestari Ecotourism (PEP Sangasanga)

4. Bronze Cup:
