Bandung– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), its subsidiaries, and affiliates successfully earned nine awards across various categories at the 2025 Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA). This event represents the highest recognition in the communications and public relations field in Indonesia.

The award ceremony took place in Bandung on February 26, 2025. The awards received by PHI covered communication strategies related to the Company's Public Relations (PR) organization, communication channels, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. PR INDONESIA Director Frans Sutedjo, PRFM Director Windu Djajadiredja, and Press Council Member Achmad Djauhar presented the awards.

In his speech, PR Indonesia Founder and CEO Asmono Wikan emphasized the strategic role of communications, particularly public relations, amidst the constantly evolving global landscape. He added that to tackle these ongoing challenges, PR must be an adaptive, data-driven force oriented toward cross-sector collaboration.

Dony Indrawan, manager of Communication Relations and CID at PHI, expressed his pride in this achievement. Success also extended to the Owned Media category, where Energia Kalimantan Edition 7 earned a Bronze award in the Internal Magazine subcategory. Additionally, in the Digital Channel category, the Company's official website, phi.pertamina.com, secured a Bronze award in the Website subcategory, reinforcing the role of digital platforms as powerful communication tools.

In the realm of corporate social responsibility, PHI also demonstrated outstanding achievements through its impactful programs. The Gold award in the Community-Based Development subcategory was presented to PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia for the Sobat Bumi Kalimantan Scholarship/Beasiswa Sobat Bumi Kalimantan (BSBK) initiative, which supports high school graduates from underprivileged families in Kalimantan to pursue higher education.

Meanwhile, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) received a Silver award for its Floating State School Program, PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) North Operation Area (DOBU) was recognized with a Silver award for the Kapak Prabu Program, and PT Pertamina EP Bunyu Field earned a Silver award for the Mantap Betul Program. Furthermore, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) was awarded Bronze for its Balanipa Program, while PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tarakan Field received Bronze for the Akar Basah Program, both of which have made a positive impact on local communities.
