Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) once again achieved impressive success in the 2025 Community Involvement & Development (CID) Upstream Award, organized by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), Pertamina's Upstream Subholding. The CID program management competition, attended by all corporate entities under the Pertamina Upstream Subholding umbrella, commenced in May 2025 and concluded with the final round and awards ceremony on August 4–6, 2025.

PHI, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates, won several prestigious awards for its contributions and innovation in implementing sustainable community involvement and development (CID) programs. The CID Upstream Award is an annual event held by PHE to recognize the best individuals within Pertamina's Upstream Subholding who demonstrate innovation and outstanding contributions to the implementation of CID programs. This year, the competition featured a total of 11 categories.

In his remarks, Whisnu Bahriansyah expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in CID activities within Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, from Work Areas, Zones, Regions, and Subsidiaries, who are accomplished champions within the Upstream Subholding's work areas.

"Corporate social responsibility is not merely an obligation, but a commitment to sustainability. This appreciation honors CID personnel who have actively contributed to change in society," said Whisnu.

PHI Senior Manager of Relations, Handri Ramdhani, strived to foster a collective spirit to continue strengthening the Company's social contribution. "I extend my congratulations and highest appreciation for the achievements of our colleagues in the 2025 CID Upstream Award," Handri said to all PHI team members who competed and supported PHI's success in this event.

He added that this achievement reflects the spirit of collaboration, hard work, and shared commitment to delivering innovative and impactful CID programs. "Let us use this achievement as momentum to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of the CID program, in order to provide significant benefits to the community and support the Company's business sustainability," he added.

Meanwhile, Dony Indrawan, Manager of Communication Relations & CID at PHI, emphasized that this award recognizes the Company's strong commitment to strategically implementing corporate social responsibility programs. "At PHI, we are committed to carrying out our corporate social responsibilities through our community engagement and development (CID) programs, which support community self-reliance in line with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)," said Dony. He explained that in practice, the Company implements social and environmental innovations in its CID programs, thus providing a significant and sustainable impact on the community.

•       Best CID Partner – Bronze: Vivi Apriliyani, PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) Zona 10

•       Best Independent Energy Village – Silver: Elis Fauziyah, Saliki WSS Program, PHSS Zona 9

•       Best Outcome: Balanipa WSS CSR Program, PHSS Zona 9

•       Best Health – Bronze: Dharma Saputra, PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Zona 10

•       Best Economy – Bronze: Dharma Saputra PHKT, Zona 10

•       Best CID Leadership – Gold: Dony Indrawan, Regional 3
